Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an outpatient position in Southbury, CT, with flexible scheduling options and no weekends or call.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting
• Flexible schedule options of 5x8s or 4x10s; department hours are Mon/Wed 7:30am–7pm, Tue/Thu 7:30am–6pm, Fri 7am–3pm; must remain until 7pm on Mondays and Wednesdays
• No weekends, floating, or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Current Connecticut Physical Therapy license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required; only AHA-issued BLS is accepted
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year in the same discipline/specialty

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include therapy evaluations, treatment planning and implementation in accordance with department clinical guidelines and protocols, participation in team conferences/rounds, and patient and family education and training
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are welcome to apply
