Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Outpatient Clinic Infusion position requiring ONS/OCN certification and Epic proficiency, with a 4x10 day schedule and no weekends or call.

Details

• Outpatient clinic infusion setting serving adult and geriatric oncology patients
• Patients are primarily oncology patients currently receiving treatment and requiring symptom management
• Position involves floating between multiple infusion clinic locations
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience in outpatient clinic infusion required
• Required certifications: BLS and ONS or OCN
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• ONS chemo certification and infusion experience strongly preferred due to multi-clinic float requirement
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

• Former employees of the facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation
• RTO must be requested at the time of submission and built into the contract, with a limit of 7 days or fewer
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly after signing a contract — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet as soon as possible upon receipt
• Parking is available on-site for agency staff through a paid permit program with multiple options, including a convenient medical center garage and a budget surface lot with shuttle service
