Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Oncology Pod Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, travel experience, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Oncology Pod Emergency Department setting within a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Floating is required for this assignment
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Telemetry monitoring used in this unit

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years of ED experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency with IV starts required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as a second reference; coworker references are not accepted

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted
• RTO must be submitted at time of application and built into the contract; requests are limited to 7 consecutive days or less
• Former facility employees are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation from the facility
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly after signing a contract; candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or will receive a mail-in fingerprinting packet
