Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation (IRF) position in Longview, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and AHA certifications.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with a 36-bed unit
• Rehab Nursing IRF department
• Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 7-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• AHA certifications required (BLS at minimum; all applicable AHA certs must be current)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Inpatient rehabilitation or acute rehab experience expected given the IRF setting
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
