Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient travel assignment in Brenham, TX, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active TX PT license.
Details
- 13-week travel assignment located in Brenham, TX
- Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; no weekend shifts
- Inpatient physical therapy setting within a rehabilitation department
- Responsibilities span evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, patient education, and discharge planning
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active TX PT license required (TX or Compact); license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
- Proficiency with multiple computer systems and standard rehabilitation equipment
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills required
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Date of birth and SSN required for consideration
- Flu vaccination is mandatory; no exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include modifying therapy programs and goals based on patient progress, accurate charge entry, and clinical documentation
- Role includes supervision of support staff, students, and volunteers
- Expected to communicate effectively with patients, families, and the broader care team
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers are not accepted
