Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a day shift travel assignment at a 50-bed acute rehabilitation hospital in Dallas, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 50 beds on a single floor
• Rehab/med-surg nursing unit specializing in stroke, amputation, brain injury, neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, trauma, and orthopedic injury recovery
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• Equipment includes IV pumps, EKG machines, bariatric beds, and medication dispensing systems
• EMR: Cerner and Epic
• Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No floating required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required, including BLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Inpatient rehab or med-surg nursing experience applicable
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides individualized, intensive rehabilitation care to patients recovering from stroke, amputation, brain injury, neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, trauma, and orthopedic injuries
• Facility is accredited by CIHQ and CARF for its Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
