Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring an active NM or compact license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Details

  • Work in the Cardio-Cath Lab department of a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NM or Compact) currently in hand
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required
  • No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of start
  • Valid driver's license required for consideration
  • US Social Security Number required for consideration (Canadian SIN not accepted)
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
  • RTO requests must be less than 1 week
  • Candidates who have worked at this health system as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered

Very travelers friendly, block scheduling offered, med host EMR, easy low acuity patients

Cons

Oil field so renting or hotel rooms are expensive. Patient population is a lot of drug and alcohol withdrawal patients. Minimal drops minimal vents.
