Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Colorado hospital, requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting
• Night shift schedule: 1900–0700 (12-hour shifts)
• 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• Weeknights only — no weekends or call shifts required
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license — Colorado single-state or compact license required (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; must not expire prior to start
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in the OR setting
• Executes delegated medical functions, performs health teaching, and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Documents clinical care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have worked permanently at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
