Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a cardiac cath lab position requiring 2+ years of experience, Epic proficiency, and ARRT or RCIS certification.
Details
- Works in a cardiac cath lab with 4 procedure rooms averaging 12–15 cases per day
- Collaborates with a team of 20 physicians
- Preferred equipment includes GE Innova imaging system
- Preferred monitoring/recording systems include Maclab and Xper
- Epic EMR experience required
- 5x8-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- On-call requirement of 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
- 13 or 26-week contract options available
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience
- Active ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required
- Current ACLS and BLS required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- LA license required if applicable
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
- Up to 5 days of RTO allowed for the duration of the contract
- Scrubs are provided
