Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital-based Physical Therapy department, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and a compact or Maine PT license.

- Hospital-based Physical Therapy department
- Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Physical Therapy experience required
- Active compact or Maine state PT license required (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification required
- Two professional references within the past year required; at least one must be from a Supervisor, Manager, or Director (Charge Nurse acceptable; peer references not accepted)
- Full SSN required for consideration
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Flu vaccination required for clearance to start
Additional Information
- Manager interviews are required for this position
- Candidates must have a permanent address located 100+ miles South or Southwest of Bangor, ME to be eligible
- Candidates who have previously worked at any Northern Light Health hospital in a permanent capacity are not eligible
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission
- Medical exemptions only are accepted for flu vaccination, subject to facility review and approval; a minimum of 2 weeks must be allowed for the exemption review process
- Work history should include hospital name, location, number of beds, trauma level, teaching hospital experience, and EMR/charting information where applicable
