Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS certification and at least 2 years of experience for a weekend night shift position at a short-term acute care hospital.
Details
- 325-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Ultrasound department covering STAT and ASAP orders throughout the hospital
- Primary focus on ER and OB triage orders, including portable exams and transport to the ultrasound department
- Routine exams are not a primary expectation of this shift, though completion is appreciated when time permits
- 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, weekends only
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience
- ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB) or OB/GYN required
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency with portable ultrasound and department-based exams
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Perform STAT and ASAP ultrasound exams including ER and OB triage studies, both portable and in-department
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront; minimal RTO is preferred for this position
- No on-call requirement
