Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a combined Med/Surg and Emergency Dept position at a Critical Access Hospital in Colorado, requiring a CO or compact RN license and a minimum of 4 years of experience.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital setting with a combined Med/Surg and Emergency Department unit
• Patient population includes adult med/surg, orthopedic/spine post-op, and emergency patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• 13-week contract with night shifts
• No time-off requests for holidays will be approved — holiday work is required

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Colorado RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Spine/orthopedic post-op patient experience required, with an emphasis on Med/Surg
• COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 65 miles from the facility — local travelers will not be considered
• Facility-provided housing may be available as a shared 2-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment — no pets and no smoking permitted
