Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital environment
• Position primarily supports a Med/Surg float pool, with floating required
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00–07:00)
• 84 hours scheduled biweekly
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration or prior to offer acceptance
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could cause a positive result, including CBD products
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
