Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at a nationally ranked, Level I trauma academic medical center in Durham, NC.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 978 staffed beds
• Respiratory and Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Major teaching hospital and Level I trauma center, nationally ranked in multiple adult and pediatric specialties
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Charting via Epic EMR

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required — all must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Compact or North Carolina (NC) state license in hand at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Additional Information

• Orientations are held on a bi-weekly basis
• Flu vaccine is required from October 31 through March 31, with no exemptions accepted
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted; travel pay rate applies to candidates residing beyond 75 miles
