Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a PCU/Progressive Care Unit position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and a Texas or compact RN license.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Position primarily supports Med Surg through floating
• Day shift schedule (3x12 or 4x12 hours), 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 84 hours biweekly
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Floating to Med Surg required
• Two supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to or at the time of offer acceptance
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana — a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive result
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
