Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel contract in the Denver metro area, requiring 3 years of telemetry experience and the ability to float within the AdventHealth regional system.

Details

• Hospital-based telemetry unit serving adult and geriatric patients
• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement of 6 weekend shifts per six-week schedule period
• Travelers are part of the internal float pool and float based on hospital needs
• Floating may include other regional AdventHealth locations (Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, Porter) with at least 2 hours notice prior to shift
• No on-call shifts required

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 3 years of telemetry nursing experience required
• Willingness to float between regional hospital locations as needed

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination; booster is not currently required
• Calling off on a weekend or holiday may result in being rescheduled for another weekend or holiday per facility policy
• Copy of COVID vaccination card required for consideration
