Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a float pool ICU position requiring a CA RN license, BSN, and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with the ability to float across ICUs, TCUs, ED, and PACU.

Details

• Float pool position covering all ICUs and TCUs, as well as the ED and PACU — not unit-based
• 12-hour rotating day and night shifts (7:00–19:30 days / 19:00–7:30 nights), with shift assignment potentially changing each 4-week schedule cycle based on unit need
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Floating required across multiple departments and facilities within the health system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BSN required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters strongly preferred
• 2.5 years of ICU experience preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred

Additional Information

• This is a float pool role — candidates must be comfortable working across multiple ICU and TCU environments, as well as the ED and PACU
• Two completed professional references must be on file at the time of consideration
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of offer, as RTO requests after contract signing will not be honored
