Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week travel contract on a Medical/Surgical unit (White 8) at a major academic hospital in Boston, requiring an active MA RN license and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

• Position is on White 8, a medical/surgical unit within a large academic hospital setting in Boston, MA
• 12-hour day/night rotating shifts
• Uses Epic for charting
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• BLS certification required — must be AHA only
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Active MA RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
• Flu vaccine required — no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, clinical decision-making, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, care plan coordination, and individualized nursing care
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and will be offered a reduced rate
• No validated parking is available at this Boston location; public transportation is recommended, and public parking is available at daily rates
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
• RTO requests must be disclosed at time of consideration
