Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulating RN for a 13-week travel contract in Bad Axe, MI, with required experience in Ortho, OB-GYN, and General surgery.

Details

• Day shift position, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (9-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• On-call required approximately 10-11 days per month
• Surgical department serving both adult and pediatric inpatient and outpatient populations
• Surgical specialties include Orthopedics, OB-GYN, General Surgery, Cancer, ENT, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, and Urology
• Small unit consisting of 3 OR rooms and one Procedure Room
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• EMR: CPSI
• Hospital-provided scrubs

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous OR circulating experience required
• Experience in Orthopedic, OB-GYN, and General surgery required
• Urology and Ophthalmic surgery experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Delivers quality nursing care through the nursing process in collaboration with the broader healthcare team
• Carries out functions in accordance with medical center policy, mission, and professional and regulatory standards of practice
• Surgical team is available for emergency surgeries 24/7
• Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced travel pay rate
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
• Copies of all certifications must be included for consideration
