Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Fetal Monitoring for a Maternal-Fetal Medicine unit, requiring OB certification and MFM experience with high-risk patients.
Details
- Position is based in a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Caseload consists of high-risk OB/MFM patients
- Uses GE Vivid E6 ultrasound machines (upgrading to GE E8 or E10)
- Reporting system is Phoenix by MIET
- 8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- No weekends or on-call requirements
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week contract (26-week extension possible)
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
- OB certification required; MFM experience is required
- ARDMS or equivalent credential required
- Current BLS required
- License required if applicable
- Work history gaps exceeding 30 days must be explained
- 2 professional references dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Skills checklist dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- All RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
- Candidates with a permanent Tallahassee address are not eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Perform high-risk OB/MFM ultrasound studies and fetal monitoring procedures
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Orientation is held every Monday
- Local candidates are accepted, provided they do not have a permanent Tallahassee address
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Royal blue scrubs required
