Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level III Trauma Center in Gallatin, TN, requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and active TN or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Emergency Department setting at a 167-bed acute care hospital
• Level III Trauma Center serving patients of all ages
• Day/evening shift: 9:45 AM – 10:15 PM
• Every other weekend availability required, with additional weekend hours as needed
• On-call required as needed
• Floating required as needed
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee (TN state license or compact license) required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — AHA-issued certifications required and must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
• ENPC or TNCC certification is a plus
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Additional Information

• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• All clinical staff working in Tennessee must be cleared through the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Any scrub color is acceptable; casual wear and other facility-branded attire are not permitted
