Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a 13-week travel contract at a major academic medical center in Boston, requiring an active MA RN license and AHA-only certifications.

Details

  • Position is in the Emergency Department of a large academic hospital in Boston, MA
  • Day/Night rotation schedule with 4 weeks of each shift type
  • Every other weekend (EOW) required
  • Every other holiday (EOH) required
  • EMR: Epic (charting system used on unit)
  • Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required — AHA only; Red Cross and other providers are not accepted for this position
  • Primary source verification of license required (both NURSYS and BON required for nursing licenses)
  • 2 professional references required for consideration
  • Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

  • 13-week contract in the Emergency Department of a major Boston academic medical center
  • Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced rate compared to the standard travel rate
  • No validated parking is available at the Boston location; public transportation is encouraged, and public parking lots are available at a daily cost
  • Requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
