Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 3 NICU position requiring Cerner proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience.

Details

• Level 3 NICU in a hospital setting, including attendance at high-risk deliveries
• Patient population includes neonates 29–34 weeks and neonates greater than 34 weeks gestation
• Required skills include blood glucose monitoring, hyperbilirubinemia management, insulin administration, and phototherapy
• Required respiratory skills include endotracheal tube suctioning, HFNC, respiratory distress syndrome management, tracheostomy management, and ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
• Preferred skills include administration of emergency medications such as surfactants
• Cerner EMR experience is required — no exceptions
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Every third weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in MO or a Compact state required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required; NRP Advanced and PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Level 3 NICU experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required — no exceptions
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
