Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry (Cardiac) position requiring cardiac drip experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

Details

• MS/Tele Cardiac unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 4x12 hours (19:00–07:00)
• Open to 36- or 48-hour work weeks
• Block scheduling is permitted
• Every other weekend (EOW) is required
• Patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7
• Cardiac drip experience required, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone

Requirements

• Active AL RN license or compact RN license in good standing (must already be active or applied for)
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• ACLS preferred
• Cardiac drip experience required (Cardizem, Tridil, Amiodarone)
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• COVID vaccination required (religious or medical exemption accepted with documentation)
• Flu vaccination required (religious or medical exemption accepted with documentation)

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 90 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered
• 13-week contract (approximately)
• Orientation is non-billable (16 hours)
