Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring Level I Trauma experience, critical care background, and current TNCC, PALS, and ACLS certifications.

Details

• PACU unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Adult and pediatric patient population
• Shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (11:00 AM–11:30 PM)
• On-call requirements include 2 eight-hour weeknight shifts and 1 twelve-hour weekend shift per six-week schedule, plus 1 summer and 1 winter on-call shift
• May float to the GI or pain center if needed
• Charting system: Cerner Aecis Surgi Net
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of PACU or critical care experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• ICU background required
• SICU, MICU, or CTICU experience preferred
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
