Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Key West, FL, requiring ARRT Mammography certification and a minimum of 1 year of recent mammography experience.
Details
- Position is based in a Breast Diagnostic Unit
- Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist
- Procedures include screening and diagnostic mammography, needle localization, and specimen imaging
- Additional procedures include basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM day shift
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent mammography experience required
- FL Radiologic Technologist license required (license required if applicable)
- ARRT Mammography certification required
- Current BLS required
- Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
- AHCA compliance required for FL placement
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the contract start date
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must have secured housing at the time of contract acceptance
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week in duration
