American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Immediate Coronary Care Unit (PCU/Telemetry) position requiring BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications with night shift availability.

Position is in an Immediate Coronary Care Unit (PCU/Telemetry)
Night shift schedule
Dysrhythmia Exam must be passed within 24 hours of offer

Requirements

Active NC or Compact RN license required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
Must be available for interview between 9AM–12PM ET or 3PM–6PM ET

Additional Information

No time off permitted on holidays, including the day before and the day after each holiday

Pros

Work load is nice! The docs are great, and room rotations are great as well.

Cons

Charting here is terrible. You have to perform 7 steps to achieve the same goal where as if you used epic it would only require 2 steps. Plus, you must print out several pieces of paper for documenting charges instead of having someone on staff who codes the charges for you.
