Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring an active NC or compact RN license and prior endoscopy experience.

Details

Work in a hospital-based Endoscopy Unit with 4 procedure rooms
High-volume unit serving approximately 30–40 patients per day
Pre/post procedure patient ratio of 2:1

Requirements

Active NC or compact RN license required
Prior GI/Endoscopy nursing experience required

Additional Information

No time off permitted on holidays, including the day before and the day after each holiday

Pros

Work load is nice! The docs are great, and room rotations are great as well.

Cons

Charting here is terrible. You have to perform 7 steps to achieve the same goal where as if you used epic it would only require 2 steps. Plus, you must print out several pieces of paper for documenting charges instead of having someone on staff who codes the charges for you.

Rachel is an awesome recruiter. She is very responsive, very active, checks in on me regularly, and a great advocate. She is also genuinely a joy to speak to as well.
