Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a 3rd Floor Overflow/Medicine Specialty position at a hospital in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring at least 1 year of RN experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

• Work setting is a hospital 3rd Floor Overflow/Medicine Specialty unit
• Patient population includes a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Schedule is days, 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week (48 hours per week)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; all certifications must be AHA-issued
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Proficiency in organizing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care
• Basic computer skills required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may only extend once, for a total of 26 weeks; a 6-month separation period is required before being eligible for a subsequent contract
• Compliance requirements are strictly enforced — candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon acceptance of an offer
