Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry Surgical Unit position requiring ACLS certification and experience managing cardiac drips on night shift.
Details
- Telemetry Surgical Unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes cardiac patients requiring drip management, including Cardene and Insulin drips
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Floating is required
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with cardiac drips (including Cardene and Insulin) required
- Telemetry and surgical unit nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable; closed-toe shoes required
- Holiday coverage is required, with no time off permitted on holidays or the day before or after each holiday
- Interviews are scheduled between 9AM–12PM ET or 3PM–6PM ET

Work load is nice! The docs are great, and room rotations are great as well.
Cons
Charting here is terrible. You have to perform 7 steps to achieve the same goal where as if you used epic it would only require 2 steps. Plus, you must print out several pieces of paper for documenting charges instead of having someone on staff who codes the charges for you.
