Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity CCU/ICU position in Jacksonville, FL, with CVICU experience preferred and night shift availability required.
Details
- Works in a high-acuity, 30-bed CCU/ICU setting
- Complex patient population includes neurosurgery, open heart, TAVR, septic shock, DKA, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring cases
- Specialized procedures and equipment include CRRT, Impella, pacemakers, advanced drip titration, and chest tubes
- Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Easter holiday coverage required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of RN-ICU experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- CVICU experience highly preferred
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care for critically ill patients with complex conditions including post-cardiac surgery, neurological, and hemodynamic instability
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Driver's license copy required for consideration
- COVID vaccination is not required for this position
- Local candidates are eligible to apply, though a radius rule applies that may affect the pay rate
