Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity CCU/ICU position in Jacksonville, FL, with CVICU experience preferred and night shift availability required.

Details

• Works in a high-acuity, 30-bed CCU/ICU setting
• Complex patient population includes neurosurgery, open heart, TAVR, septic shock, DKA, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring cases
• Specialized procedures and equipment include CRRT, Impella, pacemakers, advanced drip titration, and chest tubes
• Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Easter holiday coverage required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN-ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• CVICU experience highly preferred
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for critically ill patients with complex conditions including post-cardiac surgery, neurological, and hemodynamic instability
• Two professional references required for consideration

• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
