Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring at least 2 recent years of Cath Lab experience and ARRT certification, with exposure to advanced cardiac procedures including STEMI, ECMO, and Structural Heart.

- Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Performs advanced cardiac procedures including STEMI, Shock, VAD, ECMO, and Structural Heart
- Uses Philips imaging equipment with Siemens imaging equipment being added
- Documentation in Epic; hemodynamic system is Xper
- Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hrs/week)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or eNLC compact license) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- ARRT certification required
- Minimum of 2 recent years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Stepdown/PCU experience required
- Travel experience at Level 1 required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Provides nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex in the Cath Lab environment
- Responsibilities include monitoring physiological data, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, and assisting physicians with diagnostic procedures
- Coordinates patient care and communicates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members throughout the care episode
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after completing 26 weeks (one contract plus one extension) before being eligible to return
- Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced — onboarding requirements including drug screens and background checks must be initiated immediately upon offer acceptance
