Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 4 Trauma Emergency Department position in Kerrville, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and multiple certifications including TNCC.

• 20-bed Emergency Department with a Level 4 trauma designation
• High-volume department seeing over 34,000 patients annually
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–06:30)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHAA, PALS, and TNCC
• Preferred certifications: CPI, NRP, and SANE
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid any substances that could produce a positive result, including CBD products
