Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of pediatric experience for a float position across outpatient and ICU/ED settings at a pediatric facility in Georgia.
Details
- Outpatient pediatric facilities with float coverage to ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas
- Pediatric patient population including PICU, NICU, and ED cases
- EMR: Epic
- Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- Float position covering multiple outpatient and inpatient pediatric locations
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience
- Extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED required
- Level I trauma experience highly preferred; Level II trauma experience will be considered
- Active Georgia (GA) RT license required — license required if applicable
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Flu vaccine required if within flu season
- Two professional references preferred
- Date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services across outpatient pediatric facilities and float to ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas as needed
- RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- Nicotine-free facility — nicotine testing is required in addition to a standard drug screen
