Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of pediatric experience for a float position across outpatient and ICU/ED settings at a pediatric facility in Georgia.

Details

• Outpatient pediatric facilities with float coverage to ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas
• Pediatric patient population including PICU, NICU, and ED cases
• EMR: Epic
• Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Float position covering multiple outpatient and inpatient pediatric locations

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience
• Extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED required
• Level I trauma experience highly preferred; Level II trauma experience will be considered
• Active Georgia (GA) RT license required — license required if applicable
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Flu vaccine required if within flu season
• Two professional references preferred
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across outpatient pediatric facilities and float to ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas as needed
• RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
• Nicotine-free facility — nicotine testing is required in addition to a standard drug screen
