Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a high-volume, Magnet-designated Level II Trauma teaching hospital in Columbus, OH, requiring NRP and EFM/AWHONN certification with a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a 1,059-bed, Level II Trauma, Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital
• High-volume maternity program delivering more than 6,000 babies per year in central Ohio
• Unit includes 20 LDRs, 7 triage bays, 4 PACU beds, and 3 ORs
• Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines: 1:1 ratio for active labor, with flexibility to 2:1 for early labors; antepartum/HROB at 3:1
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Floating required between women's health departments, including postpartum and high-risk OB
• EMR: Epic (CareConnect/STORK) and Periwatch

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP certification required
• EFM-NCC or AWHONN certification required
• Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
• Candidate's permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
