Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, strong IV skills, and prior endoscopy tech experience.

Details

• GI/Endoscopy Lab setting in a hospital environment
• Patient mix of approximately 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient, with approximately 25 patients per day
• EMR systems include Epic and EndoWorks (system transitioning to Probation)
• Day shift schedule: 0700–1730, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts), 40 hours per week
• RNs are required to take call on weekends (10-hour call shifts on Saturday and Sunday) and 2-hour call blocks Monday through Friday on a self-schedule basis
• Weekends and holidays are covered via on-call rotation
• On-call requirement is approximately 1–2 times per week
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior endoscopy tech experience required
• Strong IV skills required

Additional Information

• One-week floor orientation provided
• Scrub colors: navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops; jackets must be solid navy blue or solid white
• 13-week contract
