Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position in Montana, requiring an active MT or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.

Details

  • Home health and in-patient hospice center setting
  • Patient population includes home health and hospice patients requiring skilled nursing and case management
  • Clinical skills utilized include venipuncture, catheterization, wound care, and parenteral therapy
  • Typical in-home RN schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with an on-call rotation requirement
  • On-call rotation is shared among team members to meet patient care needs via telephone triage and home visits as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of Montana (MT license or compact equivalent) currently in hand
  • Valid driver's license, appropriate auto insurance, and reliable personal transportation required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in acute care, home care, or hospice settings
  • Clinical competency in venipuncture, catheterization, wound care, and/or parenteral therapy
  • BSN preferred but not required
  • DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide skilled nursing care and case management for patients in their home or at an in-patient hospice center
  • Oversee care delivered by Home Health/Hospice Aides and CNAs, ensuring compliance with the established plan of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, community health agencies, and social services to ensure continuity of care
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete patient records in compliance with agency standards and OASIS requirements
  • Participates in quality improvement activities and attends in-service training as assigned
  • Quick start position — candidates who can begin promptly are preferred
