Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract requiring robotics (DaVinci) and scrubbing experience in an acute care setting.

Details

• Acute care hospital OR setting with 11 suites and 30–40 cases per day
• Common case types include neuro, spine, ortho, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, GYN, urology, ENT, robotics, and plastics
• Scrubbing is required for RN staff
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday (12-hour shifts)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to Walters

Requirements

• Active WA state or Compact (NLC) RN license — must be active at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
• Current BLS certification required; pending certifications not accepted
• COVID vaccination required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
• Trauma experience required
• DaVinci robotics experience required
• Scrubbing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years — both must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Unit-specific orientation is provided (12 hours)
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
