Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Salida, CO, requiring a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute care Med/Surg unit serving adult patients, including swing bed care
• Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
• Every other weekend required
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact license currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; ADN required, BSN preferred
• Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include acute care delivery, health assessment, patient teaching, care coordination, and documentation in the medical record
• Collaborates with ancillary departments and physician providers to address medical, social, and spiritual patient needs in a culturally and age-appropriate manner
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans and executes delegated medical functions
• Position is located in Salida, CO — a scenic mountain community in the heart of the Rockies
