Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring NRP skills and experience with vaginal and C-section deliveries.

Details

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license required
• NRP certification required
• Experience performing vaginal exams and assisting with vaginal deliveries required
• Ability to circulate in C-section deliveries required
• Proficiency in IV insertion and venipuncture required
• Experience with newborn stabilization post-delivery required
• Ability to recognize and respond to complications such as postpartum hemorrhage and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
