Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced EP Lab RN for a day-shift, 4x10 contract with a 1:1 patient ratio and no weekend requirements.

Details

• EP Lab unit within a hospital setting
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM), Monday through Friday
• No weekend requirements
• On-call is required
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
• Documentation system is Xper, transitioning to Epic

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CCI RCES and/or CCI RCIS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of EP Lab RN experience required
• 2 professional references from authority figures (Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) within the last year required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius restrictions
• Block scheduling requests are dependent on unit need and require manager approval prior to offer
• All RTO must be finalized and submitted prior to offer — no RTO will be accepted after offer is made
• Flu vaccine required between 10/31 and 3/31; medical and religious exemptions accepted
• Solid color scrubs required with no mixing of colors, logos, or prints; travelers may provide their own or use facility-provided scrubs
• Candidates who have previously held an internal contracted position must wait 1 year after separation before being eligible to return
• Free parking is provided with a decal issued at orientation
• Time and attendance tracked via Kronos using a badge swipe system
