Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and the ability to float to multiple ICU units.

Details

• Inpatient hospital ICU setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Requires 4 weekend shifts per month
• Floating required to other ICUs, including MICU, Neuro, TICU, and Burn units
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday coverage required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
• A copy of your Driver's License is required for consideration
• Any gaps in work history exceeding 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Navy blue scrubs required
• RTO is capped at 5 days for the duration of the contract
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel position
