Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position on a 34-bed telemetry unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and night shift availability.

Details

• 34-bed Med/Surg unit with telemetry capabilities
• Patient ratios of 1:5-7
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• Schedule options include 4x12 or 3x12 shifts
• Weekday and weekend shifts required, with 3 weekends per 4-week schedule period
• Charting performed in Cerner EMR
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Two manager or charge nurse references (within the past 2 years) required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Scrubs are not provided by the facility
• Attendance is taken seriously — candidates should be aware that excessive call-offs during the contract are not tolerated
