Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position at a 599-bed acute care teaching hospital in Florida, requiring at least 2 years of experience and on-call availability.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab of a 599-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
• Patient population includes those with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, valvular disease, STEMI/NSTEMI, and unstable angina
• Specialized procedures include cardiac catheterization, high-risk PCI, peripheral interventions, carotid stents, TAVR/MitraClip workups, and research cases
• Specialized equipment used includes Impella, Shockwave, Rotoblator, CSI, IABP, and laser devices
• Charting performed in Cerner EMR
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• On-call required as needed
• No weekend requirement
• No floating outside of scope required
• Block scheduling is not available for this position

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Circulator skills required
• Conscious sedation skills required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)

• No RTO is permitted within the contract; any RTO requests may be discussed during the interview process
• Royal blue scrubs required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• State Board of Nursing license verification and NURSYS verification required for consideration
