Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry unit position requiring at least 2 years of experience, Cerner proficiency, and night shift availability.
Details
- Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30 (3x12-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend required
- Float required within scope to other departments, including Post-Surgical, Ortho/Trauma, Oncology, Medical/MedSurg, Cardiac, Stroke/Heart Failure, and ER Boarding
- Charting system: Cerner PowerChart (experience required)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active IN or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted if active by start date)
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Cerner PowerChart experience required
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Royal blue and/or white scrubs required
- No parking costs
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
