Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract in a multimodality cardiac catheterization lab setting in Texas, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active TX or Compact RN license.

Details

• Multimodality lab environment encompassing Cath Lab, Vascular, IR, EP, and Neuro procedures across 3 labs
• Provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Performs conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
• Uses Cerner EHR and Merge Hemo systems
• Day shift schedule: 06:30–15:00
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA accepted)
• ACLS certification preferred (AHA accepted)
• Nursys license verification required prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures, and communicate patient condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures
• Responsible for setup, operation, and management of equipment and supplies throughout procedures
