Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of experience in cardiac cath, EP, and peripheral procedures for a 13-week assignment in Racine, WI.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit at an acute care hospital setting
• Procedures include cardiac catheterization, EP, balloon pump, and peripheral vascular work
• Epic used for charting
• 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with flexible start and end times
• Call rotation required based on department needs, including weekday call and approximately every 3rd weekend
• Holiday coverage required via call rotation with regular staff (12+ days of call)
• Float required within skill set to other sites within 40 miles, including a Franklin, WI location

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• BLS required (AHA-issued)
• ACLS required (AHA-issued)
• ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Experience with EP, balloon pump, cardiac cath, and peripheral procedures preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Prior travel experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
• Must provide a copy of Driver's License for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform cardiac catheterization, EP procedures, balloon pump management, and peripheral vascular interventions
• Float to affiliated sites within 40 miles as needed during the contract
• Local candidates are accepted; a radius rule applies and may affect the pay rate depending on distance from the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
