Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in the Denver, CO area requiring at least 1 year of current IR acute care experience and active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Details
- Located in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting with 2 IR suites and a team of 4 techs and 6 RNs
- Day shift schedule rotating between 7:00 AM–4:30 PM and 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
- On-call required for weekday evenings, overnights, and weekends — approximately 8–12 on-call shifts per month
- Must be available to report on-site within 30 minutes when on call
- Procedures include basic IR, drains, neuro cases, and more complex cases such as SIR-Spheres, tumor ablation, and spine procedures
- GE imaging equipment used in the unit
- EMR: Meditech
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date)
- Minimum 1 year of current IR RN acute care experience required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no exceptions
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Neuro experience and thrombectomy center background are preferred qualifications
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter and team player with strong communication skills and the ability to manage stressful situations
- The facility is located in the South Denver metro area (Lone Tree, CO), with easy access to mountains, outdoor activities, and family-friendly communities
