Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced IR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring active CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent acute care IR experience.
Details
- work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 272-bed hospital with 2 IR suites
- day shift rotating between 7:00 AM-4:30 PM and 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
- unit staffed with 4 IR techs and 6 RNs, with 4-5 RNs on day shift
- night shift coverage is on-call only
- performs basic IR procedures including drains, neuro cases, sirspheres, tumor ablation, and spine jack procedures
- uses GE imaging equipment
- charts in Meditech EMR
- on-call required for weekdays including overnights and weekends, averaging 8-12 shifts per month
- must be able to respond on-site within 30 minutes when on call
Requirements
- , ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- active RN license, Colorado or compact, required
- minimum 1 year of current acute care IR RN experience required
- vent and drip management experience required
- neuro, ER, or ICU experience preferred
- thrombectomy center experience preferred
- no employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
