Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU travel assignment at an acute care hospital in West Virginia, requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in an acute care hospital setting
• Primarily Monday–Friday day shift with rotation to nights and weekends as needed
• Shift lengths of 8, 10, or 12 hours on a rotating schedule
• Epic EMR is used in this position
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WV RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• PACU experience required
• A valid, unexpired driver's license is required for consideration
• Two references required: one supervisor reference and one peer or additional supervisor reference (e.g., Charge RN)

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before re-applying
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year before being required to take a 2-year break
• All candidates will interview directly with a unit manager
