Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Stepdown (8 West) travel assignment in West Virginia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and night shift availability including weekends and holidays.

Details

• Acute care stepdown unit (8 West) in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts
• Weekends and holidays required as scheduled
• Epic EMR used in this position
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WV or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Driver's license required for consideration — must be provided as an unexpired copy
• BSN not required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before re-applying
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for more than one cumulative year without taking a 2-year break
• All candidates will interview directly with a unit manager
• Two supervisor and/or peer references required — if the candidate worked a permanent position in the last 12 months, one supervisor reference must be from that facility
• Skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
